She dabbles in artistic creations of all sorts but at the end of the day, it's the pen that her hand itches to hold.

Tatiana White grew up on a creative diet of comics, poetry, film, essays, and books.

An advocate for diversity, Tatiana studied the mechanics of film, creative writing, and journalism with the overall goal of altering narratives and imagery imposed on black youths and adults. She achieved a bachelor’s degree in Mass Media Communications and went on to work for various Bay Area media staples before returning to her first love: storytelling.

C.M. Lockhart

C. M. Lockhart (also known as Chelsea) is a Black writer of fantasy, writing stories about Black girls who aren't all that nice.

She is the founder of Written in Melanin LLC and the Melanin Library, an online database of books written by Black authors.

Tatiana Obey

Tatiana Obey writes badass characters slaying dragons. She enjoys combining action with character-driven stories that feature diverse heroes and heroines.

She is the author of Bones to the Wind, a 2022 BBA Award Winner, and Sistah Samurai: A Champloo Novella, a 2023 Indie Ink Award Winner.

KJ Bradford

KJ Bradford is a creator of worlds, living in Kentucky with her husband, daughter, and zoo of pets. She loves reading, cats, flowers, anime, and writing.

Briana is the Senior Features Editor at Crunchyroll News, where she works with an amazing team of writers to find ways to talk about how sports anime is good for your mental health and why you need to watch "Gachiakuta" (among other topics).

She has a wide selection of book releases, like her self-published magical girl series “magnifiqueNOIR,” her award-winning middle-grade “Fantasy Pin World” series (Andrews McMeel Publishing), and “The Essential Manga Guide” (Running Press). Briana works alongside her wife, Jessica Walsh, who is her muse, cat wrangler, and backseat gamer when Briana spends over 200 hours replaying “Metaphor ReFantazio.”

Inspired by authors like Haruki Murakami, Sayaka Murata, and Lemony Snicket, her stories are dark, magical, and humorous with a hint…well, a bunch…of absurdity.

Jessica Phylicia Jackson is the author of The Garden Of Graves, a spelling binding paranormal fantasy filled with magic and monsters. She is a wife and mother of two from Virginia who crafts poems and stories where the eerie meets emotion. When she isn't writing, she is probably spending time with her family.
